PERMANENT JEWELRY FAQ:
Q: Where are you located?
A: We are headquartered in Westchester, New York but we do pop-up events all over the tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT) as well as in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Charlotte, NC. We have daily appointments available in our studio in Mt. Kisco, NY. Check out our events calendar to see if we're popping up near you!

Q: Do I need to make an appointment or can I just show up at an event?
A: Appointments are recommended but we try to accommodate all walk-ins as well.Â
Q: Do I need to book a separate appointment for each person in my party?
A: Yes please!
Q: Will my deposit be applied to my bracelet or anklet once I'm at the event?
A: Yup!

Q: What is Permanent Jewelry?
A: Permanent Jewelry is chain that is made into a bracelet, anklet or necklace that is cold welded together while on you. It is custom fitted to you.
Q: Does it hurt?
A: No, not at all! It's completely safe and painless. The spark we use to weld the chain does not touch your skin. We are NOT attaching jewelry to your skin. This is just a custom fitted bracelet without a clasp.
Q: What types of jewelry can I get made permanent?
A: Bracelets, anklets, rings, and necklaces.
Q: What charms do you have in stock?
A: We have color dot charms and connectors at every event, as well as initials, evil eyes, double hearts.Â
Q: Can I customize my permanent jewelry?
A: Yes, of course! Email sam@auburnjewelry.com to discuss! We can add handwriting, charms, or symbols into the chains.
Q: How long does it take?
A: It only takes a few minutes to size and weld. The longest part of the process is deciding on a chain.Â
Q: How many chain styles do you have for us to choose from?
A: We offer over two dozen styles of chain. About a dozen in sterling silver, a dozen in 14k gold filled and half a dozen in solid 14k gold.
Q: What is it made out of?
A: We offer sterling silver, 14k gold filled and solid 14k gold chain. We have many styles of sterling and gold filled chain options at every event. We have multiple styles of solid 14k at every event as well. These are priced by the inch.
Q: How much do the pieces cost?
A: Our sterling silver and 14k gold filled bracelets start at $75 and go up to $135 depending on the chain you choose. Sterling and 14k gold filled charms range from $22-$32. Anklets are $20 additional. Solid 14k gold chains start at $18/in and go up to $43/in. We offer diamond connectors to add to these chains which are $138. We have over 30 chain styles to choose from.
Q: Will I be stopped by TSA?
A: No, these pieces do not set off the metal detectors at airports.
Q: Can permanent jewelry be worn during an MRI?
A: We are not medical professionals. Please contact your provider before your MRI. We have had many customers able to leave them on, and we have had multiple customers who have had to take them off for MRIs. This will depend on the facility doing this procedure.
Q: How do I get it off if I need to?
A: You can cut it with a scissor or wire cutter
Q: Can a bracelet be re-welded once it has been removed?
A: Yes. The re-welding fee is $25. We waive the fee if you purchase an additional piece at your appointment. Click here to book your appointment.
Q: Will it tarnish or turn?
A: Our sterling and gold filled chain stay beautiful. They will not tarnish. Over time, the bright yellow of the 14k gold filled will fade slightly.Â
Q: Can it get wet/ can I shower with it?Â
A: Yes! All of our jewelry can go in the shower, pools, oceans, ect.Â
Q: Do you do private events?
A: Yes, we love to! Bridal events, bat mitzvahs, corporate events, ladies' nights, birthdays, graduation parties, and more! Just fill out this google form to set that up! We can accommodate parties from 10 up to 300 guests!
